    • Promoted Clarity Healthcare services for Occupational Health Assessment as part of a Risk Control System (RCS) identified through processes of Risk Assessment relating to:

    Based in Knutsford, Cheshire, the Forum of Private Business (FPB) is a UK-based membership organisation which campaigns for the interests of small and medium-sized businesses.

    It offers practical business advice and help, as well as offering a range of products and services to help its members save money. The FPB represents over 25,000 UK businesses.

    We have worked with the FPB since 2004 being their nominated Health and Safety Adviser available to their Membership.

    MD Safety Management has:

     

    • Developed a comprehensive Health and Safety Guide for their Members to help them comply with the complexities of Health and Safety Law. The Guide is a self-auditing tool that allows both general and specialist businesses identify gaps in their Health and Safety Management System. It includes an Action Plan so that these gaps can be addressed in a sensible and pragmatic way.
    • Developed Microsoft Word templates, Flowcharts and Registers, Checklists, etc. on a CD ROM so that Members purchasing the Health and Safety Guide have access to a tool kit of all the Forms necessary to help with compliance.
    • Provided bespoke Training Services to the FPB Member Information Service (MIS) to ensure that first line Member support is timely and effective.
    • Provided a technical Health and Safety Support advice line for Members queries.
    • Provided contributions to their Health and Safety Panel – a process that allows members of the Forum get the opportunity to have a voice in government, influence the people who can make a difference and shape future legislation.
    • Provided regular articles and contributions to the FPB website Health and Safety Blog.
    • Presented at FPB Seminars as part of their "Get Britain Trading" campaigns.
    • Provided Health and Safety consultancy directly to their Members.

    Based in Newark-on-Trent in Nottinghamshire, The Survey Association, known generally as TSA, is the trade body for commercial survey companies in the UK. The role of TSA is to promote best practice amongst its members, provide a forum for members for discussion, debate and continuing professional development and, to the wider audience such as engineers and architects, provide guidance on new methods and techniques and a list of suitably qualified and experienced companies.

    The association has over 140 companies in membership as Full, Associate, Supplier, Affiliate or Academic members directly involved in the survey business.

    TSA is also heavily involved in lobbying Government and other agencies such as the Environment Agency regarding policies likely to affect or involve the survey industry.

    We have worked with TSA since 2004 being their nominated Health and Safety Adviser available to their Membership.

    MD Safety Management has:

    • Provided an Annual Health and Safety Seminar (hosted at the Leica Geomatics Headquarters in Milton Keynes) taking on the form of part presentation and part Workshop to assist Members with current Health and Safety topics and keep abreast of updates in Legislation.
    • Developed and provided an Annual Health and Safety Scheme consisting of generic documents for the surveying industry to help reduce the time spent for members in developing their formal Health and Safety Management Systems. This has been an excellent way for Members to start on the road to compliance safe in the knowledge that the documents have been developed specifically for their industry.
    • Developed Guidance Notes to assist Members in providing and requesting information to/from Clients to assist in their development of site-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
    • Provided regular Newsletters for the monthly "TSA Update".
    • Provided Health and Safety consultancy directly to their Members.
